Fund Management
One fund, managed to one standard.
Alpha ThemisYu is a fund management firm with a deliberate shape. It manages a single fund, DEEZ. The fund is supported by large, financially strong partners and banks. One mandate keeps the firm's full attention in one place, rather than spread across several products.
That shape is a choice. A single fund gives one portfolio the complete attention of the firm, gives partners one reporting line they can hold to account, and gives every decision one standard to answer to.
The Fund
The mandate we manage
DEEZ, Diversified Revenue and Issuance Center, is the one fund under Alpha ThemisYu's management, a disciplined vehicle for allocating capital across markets and through cycles. The name is the brief, the central hub for diversified income and for issuing instruments, run as one book rather than a collection of trades. The firm does not manage around it; it manages it.
Alpha ThemisYu's role is stewardship, setting the mandate with the fund's partners, committing capital against it, watching each risk as it is taken, and reporting what the capital returns. The fund's own story, its mandate, approach, and regulatory record in its own words, is published by DEEZ itself.
Mandate
The manager's first duty is not to outperform but to hold the course. Protect the capital entrusted to the fund, pursue durable, value-creating growth, and never spend the fund's reputation chasing a return.
Structure
One fund keeps the structure honest. Decisions are made once, recorded once, and reported in one voice to partners, with no products added around that line, only discipline around it.
A manager's job is to keep faith between capital and mandate, decision by decision, report by report, cycle by cycle.
Strength
Partners and financial strength
Management is only as strong as the parties it answers to. Alpha ThemisYu works with large, financially strong partners and banks that stand behind DEEZ, supplying capital, credibility, and structuring reach.
The firm's task is alignment. It brings banking relationships to the table before they are needed, structures commitments that would be difficult to arrange alone, and keeps every party pointed at the same mandate. It is easy to promise alignment in a calm market. The firm keeps the same promises in a difficult one.
Where a young manager is tempted to grow by adding funds, this firm intends to deepen the one it has. Fewer mandates, held properly, is the strategy, not a stage it is passing through.
Approach
Investment approach
Discipline, patience, and accountability govern the firm as they govern the fund. At the manager's scale, they are allocation against a written mandate, commitments timed on preparation rather than opportunity, and a reporting line kept to one schedule.
Discipline
The firm manages to a written mandate, not to the market's weather. Every proposal is tested against the fund's criteria before capital moves, and no position is exempt from review.
Patience and preparation
Partnerships are chosen the way positions are, carefully, once, and to last. Commitments are prepared thoroughly and timed deliberately, and the firm would rather wait for a well-built one than fill a calendar.
Accountability
Reporting is not a courtesy; it is the product. Partners receive the results as they are, documented as they were decided, on a schedule that does not move.
Oversight
Governance and oversight
Alpha ThemisYu separates its duties the way governance demands. Those who decide answer to those who oversee, and both answer to the fund's partners.
Decisions are documented as they are made, and escalation is early and expected. Performance is measured against the mandate rather than the market's latest mood, and partners receive the results as they are. A mandate written before the cycle cannot be quietly renamed after it.
